Rules & Guidelines

Our camp is a place to have fun, grow, play sports, and build friendships all in a safe, respectful environment.
 To make sure everyone has a great experience, we ask all campers to follow the rules below.

These guidelines help us create a positive culture where everyone feels safe, included, and supported.

The Rules of KGC

Our camp works best when everyone is present, involved, and committed.

  • Campers are expected to attend the entire camp program and follow the daily schedule.
  • Leaving the camp activities or premises strictly prohibited and only permitted by camp director
  • Campers must stay with their counselors and group at all times during camp activities.

Food guidelines are in place to support health, safety, and cleanliness.

  • Campers are expected to eat only during scheduled meals and snack times unless approved by the Camp Director.
  • Bringing food, candy, gum, drinks, or snacks into camp are strictly prohibited

Any medical or dietary exceptions must be reported after registration and before the camp starts, approved in advance, and will be handled according to the Medical Policy.

Our camp is a place for friendship, teamwork and respect.

  • Being alone together at any time is strictly prohibited
  • Campers are expected to maintain appropriate physical and verbal boundaries.

This includes:

  • No kissing, holding hands, frontal or side hugs, back rubs, tickling, or similar behavior
  • No verbal harassment of any kind
  • No sexual jokes, gestures, or inappropriate physical contact

These boundaries help keep everyone safe and comfortable.

  • Camp programs are designed for specific age groups.
  • Enrollment is only accepted if the camper meets the age requirements.
  • The camp reserves the right to refuse or cancel enrollment if age requirements are not met.

Our dress code is designed to support safety and comfort during camp activities.

Swimwear

  • Boys: should wear swim trunks fit for pool activities.
  • Girls: should wear modest only one-piece athletics swimsuits.
  • When campers are not participating in water activities, they must wear shorts and a t-shirt over swimwear.

Shoes

  • Athletic shoes and socks must be worn during all camp activities.

Jewelry & Accessories

  • Due to the active nature of camp activities, we strongly advise campers not to bring valuable or expensive items to camp.
  • Jewelry should be minimal and safe for sports and physical activities.
  • Please note that the camp is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items, including jewelry.

Clothing

  • T-shirts must be worn during all camp activities.
  • Shorts must be of appropriate length (finger-tip rule).
  • Only sports t-shirts are allowed.
  • Sleeveless shirts, tank tops, spaghetti-strap tops, and inappropriate clothing are not permitted.
  • Clothing with inappropriate slogans, images, or messages (e.g., alcohol, drugs, sexual content, offensive language) is not allowed.

Please note: If a camper’s clothing does not meet camp guidelines, it will be replaced with clothes that meet the standards.

Our Camp is a chance to take a break from screens and socialize.

  • Electronic devices (phones, tablets, music players, gaming devices, smart watches with internet access or ANY watch, etc.) are not allowed during camp.
  • All electronic devices should be handed to camp staff upon arrival. If a camper does not hand in electronic devices and keeps or hides them, the camp is not responsible for any loss or damage of personal electronic devices.

All communication between campers and parents is managed through camp administration, and daily calls are allowed only through the official camp mobile phone during the designated time.

We expect all campers to treat others with respect and kindness.

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Alcohol, drugs, tobacco, or vaping
  • Bullying, teasing, or intimidation
  • Inappropriate language or conversations
  • Verbal, physical, or sexual abuse
  • Stealing or lying
  • Gossip or intentionally hurting others
  • Failure of attend activities
  • Pushing or throwing anyone into the swimming pool
  • Keeping prohibited items such as phones, sweets, or snacks
  • Any behavior that puts the camper or others at risk

Serious or repeated behavior issues may result in parent notification, restricted participation and or removal from camp.

  • Transportation by bus is available for selected camps and meeting points.
  • Parents are responsible for ensuring timely drop-off and pick-up.
  • Camp responsibility begins and ends at designated drop-off and pick-up points and times.
  • Campers are expected to follow behavior rules during transportation.

Repeated transportation behavior issues may result in loss of transportation privileges.

Our goal is to provide every camper with an experience that is fun, safe, respectful, and memorable.

We deeply appreciate the cooperation of parents and campers in helping us build a positive camp culture where every child feels supported, valued, and encouraged to grow.

  • Every Camper must attend the whole camp and will not be permitted to leave camp without permission of the camp director.
  • Every camper is required to commit to the camp schedule. No camper is allowed to miss an activity, except in case of illness and only then upon the advice of the camp doctor.
  • Campers should be with their counselors and their fellow campers during camp activities.
  • No eating is allowed during camp activities. Campers eat at scheduled meal times unless approved by the director.
  • Campers may not bring any food, candy, gum, drinks, etc. into camp and the office KGC team does not store the food.
  • Electronic devices (i.e. mp3s, psp, i-pods…etc.) and all magazines are not permitted in camp.
  • Personal cell phones and computer access will not be available during camp.
  • Internet access will not be available at camp.
  • Kindly leave any electronics you brought with you to KGC staff on the first day of camp.

1.Swimsuits:

  • Swimsuits must always be worn at the pool.
  • Males should wear swim trunks.
  • while females should wear modest one-piece swimsuits (2-piece swimsuits are NOT allowed).
  • Girls must also wear shorts and t-shirts over their swimsuits when not participating in a water activity.

2.Shoes:

  • To prevent injury, athletic shoes and socks must be worn during all camp activities.

3.Jewelry:

  • The only jewelry that may be worn at camp is an athletic watch.
  • Girls may only wear stud earrings (a maximum of two earrings per ear).

4. Guys Clothing:

  • Guys should wear t-shirts during all camp activities.

5.Girls Clothing:

  • No short shorts are allowed (i.e. fingertip rule).
  • Only Sport T-shirts are allowed. No spaghetti strap tops, no sleeveless t-shirts, and no tank tops are allowed.

6.T-Shirts:

  • Inappropriate slogans or designs on clothing (i.e. beer slogans, sexual innuendos, inappropriate musicians, etc.) may not be worn at camp.
  • Camp is not a place for physical relationships between campers.
  • Campers of the opposite sex should NEVER be alone together.
  • Campers are expected to follow the following guidelines:
  1. No kissing, frontal hugs, holding hands, back rubs, tickling etc.
  2. No verbal harassment of any kind.
  3. No sexual joking or using hands in joking.

The following camper behavior will not be tolerated at camp and will accordingly be strictly dealt with:

  • Alcohol, drug, or tobacco use
  • Inappropriate language or conversations
  • Self-mutilation
  • Negative/disrespectful attitude
  • Stealing or lying
  • Abuse (verbal, physical, or sexual)
  • Skipping activities
  • Bullying
  • Gossip
  • Keeping cell phone or sweets
  • Pushing staff or campers into the swimming pool

Discipline

  • At KGC we apply a strict discipline system which allows campers to understand an important concept: rules violation = price paid.
  • We believe that creating camp rules and encouraging campers to strictly follow them is a major element in creating a safe environment at camp. Therefore, whenever a camper violates camp rules, we follow a discipline procedure that starts with a reminder of the rule, then a warning, and finally an action takes place.   • If a camper keeps violating the same rule and puts their and other campers’ safety at risk, the director has the right to send this camper home after informing the parents.
